Search For The Gold Boot 2012
The Premier League season is just around the corner. After the 2011 EPL Season offered us 1,063 goals in 380 matches, what is there to expect? The answer is a lot. After a tight finish to the race for the Golden Boot, Dimitar Berbatov and Carlos Tevez finished atop the standing with 20 a piece. Not far behind trailed Robin van Persie with 18. So that brings us to our question, who will lead the pack next season to the boot?
Dimitar Berbatov
Joint Premier League Golden Boot winner. After a spectacular goalscoring season, many uneducated fans would assume he would be in the running for a second title. However, with the emergence of Mexican star striker, Javier Hernandez, and an in form Wayne Rooney, the outlook for Berbatov is minimal playing time at best.
Carloz Tevez
Carlos Tevez has a knack for scoring goals..you have to admit that. Much like Berbatov though, his goalscoring future is not bright...for the Premier League at least. Many trade rumors have been circling around the Argentine striker. He was quoted as saying, "I'm never going back to Manchester..." So I wouldn't place my money on Tevez being re-crowned.
Robin van Persie
The Dutchman provided 18 goals last season..he only played in 25 of 38 games. Pretty efficient scoring. Placing your bets on van Persie seems like a logical decision. His only problem is the injury bug. His entire career has been plagued by injury. Barring no injury, van Persie has great chances to be top scorer of the league.
Who else?
Of course the leading scorers of the league have to be taken into account, who else is there? Many names can be thrown around including Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez, Didier Drogba, Peter Odemwingie, and many others. Of course there will be the dark horse. Which goalscorer will come out of nowhere to shock the league?

The Red Triumvirate
On Saturday's matchup with West Ham United, Sir Alex Ferguson made the adjustment of putting both Chicharito and Berbatov in along with Rooney. Moments after this change was made, all hell broke loose. Wayne Rooney landed a hat-trick with three goals within 14 minutes. Chicharito also added a fourth goal in the 84th minute.
That brings us to the question...should this triumvirate be used more often? This group was used against a relegation zone West Ham United; however, some fans believe it may work against tougher opponents with the same success.
Berbatov the leading European Premier League goalscorer (20), Chicharito (11), and Rooney (10) are a heck of a force on the pitch at different times all with the ability to create many opportunities for themselves and teammates. Together they could have the ability to put on a goalscoring clinic consitstantly.
Would you want to see this triumvirate more often?
No? Well this is all we have to say about that...

Rooney's Return?
Been so busy lately, even missed the Manchester United game yesterday! I'm sure you have saw or heard of the Wayne Rooney goal against Manchester City already. Not only did it prove to be the winner, it was also spectacular.
It was very similar to my previous favorite goal of the season from Dimitar Berbatov against Liverpool. The big question now arrives. Is this Wayne Rooney's return? Is he going to earn all the money he's pulling in? I'm sure this goal with leave confidence surging through him. Hopefully Berbatov and Rooney can continue pouring in the goals and bringing in some hardware.

The Berb Is The Word - Choppy Photoshop Edition
The Berb is in fact the word. Carlos Tevez even admires the Berb. The Berb is calm and collective while Tevez fantasizes being like the Berb. The Berb doesn't have an ego, even though he knows, that everyone know, that the Berb is the word.
That's all I have to say.

The Berb Is The Word!
There's many reasons I like Berbatov. Obviously the first as a new soccer fan, he scored goals when I watched my first matches. As I learned more and more about soccer; however, he's more than a goalscorer. Everything Berbatov does and is supposed to do, he does it perfectly. He's not hot-headed or arrogant. After he is assisted for a goal, he goes directly over to his teammate to thank him. After winning the Bulgarian Football of the year for the 7th time, he asked people to stop voting for him. Why? Because he wants the youth to win it
I could go on and on citing reasons Berbatov has proved he is a good guy, and why he's a great player. However, most people will still refuse to give into the Berb, even United fans. When will people realize he's great, and is just going to keep getting better?
Everyone know that the Berb is the word.
